How do I order ?

Always try to use the online shopping cart, if you send a fax, email or telephone there may be a delay in your order being processed!

How can I get my credit card information to you securely?

Use the cart, this is connected through the paypal secure server.

You can either use your paypal account to pay or use all major bank cards through their secure server.

What do the condition descriptions mean?

Most cars on the list will be either Mint, Exc or VG.

Mint means exactly this i.e. never run and in as new condition. Some older cars from the sixties may have  a 'patina' of age, yet still be considered mint.

Exc is a car in very near mint condition, but just some slight use or imperfections.

VG is a complete and good car that has had some use and shows some signs of this.

All VG cars (and even sometimes mint ones!) are stripped down, cleaned and rebuilt with replacement parts where necessary. New tyres, braids and guides are fitted whenever available.

The few cars on my list that are described as 'Good' always have a remark concerning the problem, these cars are usually a rarer or more unusual model.

Generally I do not sell cars below VG condition, these are used for spares.
Repro parts may be fitted and where they are there will be a remark.
If there is a box this will be indicated by the letter 'B'.

What if I receive the car and am not happy with it ?

In the unlikely event of this happening, just repack the item and return it, when a full refund will be made including all shipping costs. There is no need to contact me and discuss this, all cars can be returned, this is your 'no quibble' guarantee.

What are the currencies quoted and what do you accept?

All transactions are made in British Pounds Sterling
Payment can only be accepted in British Pounds Sterling.

Is it possible to have any discount ?

Yes, discounts are applied as follows:-

over £100 -5%

over £250 -7.5%

over £500 -10%

There is strictly no discounting on any order under £100.

How much will the shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated on the weight of the item ordered and the specific area to which it is being shipped.

There is a rough guide on the information page, to get an exact cost please place the items in the shopping cart and the shipping will be calculated automatically.

How long will the package take to get to me ?

For the UK, usually within 48 hours. For Europe 2 to 3 days.
The rest of the world 7 to 10 days.


Will I be charged any customs duties ?

This is hard to answer, in general no but there may be charges at any time, especially on packages valued at over £100. I can send larger orders in separate parcels.
All charges that are made are the responsibility of the purchaser.

I have some cars I would like to exchange, is this possible ?

Of course, this is no problem. Just send a list of the cars with your values, I will do my best to make a swap possible.
